description

Eating is already an interactive experience, where people naturally communicate and socialize. This is an experiment on how you can improve, reinforce or challenge these social interactions through design.

This is about FOOD but more important about the PEOPLE who eat the food. It is about the experience around the food and not the food experience. My focus is on the setting, the activity and the action of food - the table choreography !
With this experiment i wanted to reinvent the common dining-situation by changing certain parameters. By changing the setting I can enhance or extend already excisting social, intimite situations and sorroundings.
Questions are raised.
Can you give these relations a new meaning? and if so, how? Is it possible to somehow create a physical connection between the outer and inner relations?
