description

Exhibition design for "What Makes a Home?" at The National Gallery of Denmark - an exhibition for children that invites all visitors to smell, touch and reflect on all the things that make a home. Cardboard is a recurring feature of the exhibition design, that functions as surroundings for ten thought-provoking works of art by artists from Denmark and abroad. The cardboard box tie in with the question: "What makes a home?" and is with you when you move from one home to another. "This is my house" children say when they have cut holes in cardboard boxes to form windows and doors. It engages children's imagination and raises thoughts about living in a cardboard box - for better or for worse. The exhibition opened with a huge pillow fight. /2014

The project is developed in collaboration with the team at The National Gallery of Denmark.
