description

What I mainly have been fascinated by in this collection is class positions, gender and power. It is a form for Anglomania and I buried myself in the British upper class around the Edwardian era, in which what appealed to me was mainly the quality of the clothes, the slow life and the theatrical glamor of the period. The groundwork of the collection is based on the finest quality and durability of fabrics and cuts rather than on trend and I wanted to design and construct clothes which could last a long period of time; they should, as at the turn of the century, be able to be inherited, reworked and repaired.
