A Vertical Axis Wind Trubine (VAWT) designed based on basic mechanic ideas inspired by the car and the Savonius principle.
Materials intended are recycled or scrapmetal available in developing countries.
My designs for this A/W women's wear collection takes root in the concept of social media. Narrowed down to how people are able to visualize and camouflage/filter their mistakes, in order to protect themselves from outer criticism and judgement.
The assignment was to design a functional chair for a specific situation. I worked with a dining chair for a cafeteria or a dining area. I wanted to create a chair that would help the user to sit in an upright position while eating at a table.
This project is an experiment with light at asymmetrical forms. Some of the sides of the lampshade has been removed, so that more light can escape and one of the sides has been pressed down so that its symmetrical shape is disturbed.
The aim of this BA project was to come up with a proposal for transforming Prora (A huge holiday resort in Rügen, build by the Nazis, but never finished in 1936-39) Into a learning centre for students from Berlin University of Arts.
Berta is a communication infrastructure realized through 5 co-design workshops with members of “Fontana”. Fontana is day center for 18-25 years old with various mental disorders including schizophrenia , bi-polar, depression, severe anxiety , etc.
The Heave Ho piece is inspired by the story 'Herrings for a Shilling' by Valerie Larkins. It has a huge sense of family occasion where the little girl is with her sisters waiting for her Dad, Uncle and Brother to return from a fishing trip.
This project was to re-brand Timex, a brand of watches who have been set up since 1854. My idea was that I wanted to portray the brand to be reliable and it has always been there for people throughout history.
