A three day workshop with 100 students, from 42 nations, with various backgrounds in fashion and sustainability. The YFS consisted of speeches by Rick Ridgeway (Patagonia), Dilys Williams (London College of Fashion/Centre of Sustainable Fashion), representatives from NIKE, H&M and the European Environment Agency.

Discussion and development of a clear set of ambitious goals and objectives, connected to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The demands were addressed directly to the fashion leaders from around the world gathered for the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016.

My group was working with Sustainable Development Goals 8: Decent work & economic growth, 12: Responsible production & consumption. In relations to circularity, with a technological agenda. The group was facilitated by Gwen Cunningham (Circular Economy/AMFI) and Vibeke Riisberg (Design School Kolding). I represented our group and presented our demands in front of the 1300 participants at Copenhagen Fashion Summit.

The workshop was created by KEA, Centre of Sustainable Fashion and Danish Fashion Institute.
